VoicePad Installation and Initial Setup

Step 1. Download and Launch VoicePad

What you need to do:

1. Download the .exe installer file
2. Run the program
3. After launch, the step-by-step setup wizard will open automatically

VoicePad will prompt you to install the required audio driver — Voicemeeter Banana

Step 2. Install and Launch Voicemeeter Banana

VoicePad works through the virtual audio driver Voicemeeter Banana.
Without it, the program will not be able to send audio to your microphone.

2.1 Install the driver

1. Download Voicemeeter Banana
2. Install it using the standard installation process
3. Restart your computer if required

In the setup wizard, the loading indicator next to “Install the driver” will automatically change to a ✅ checkmark.

2.2 Launch Voicemeeter Banana

Start → VB Audio → Voicemeeter Banana
Once Voicemeeter is running, the indicator next to “Launch Voicemeeter” will change to ✅.

2.3 Click "Check"

After completing the two actions:

• The driver is installed
• Voicemeeter is running

Click the "Check" button.
If everything is done correctly:

• both indicators will turn into checkmarks
• the button will change to "Next"

Click "Next" to proceed to the next step.

Step 3. Select Your Microphone

Now you need to specify which microphone you normally use.



What you need to do:

• Select your primary microphone from the device list
• Click "Confirm"

⚠️ Make sure you select the exact microphone you use in Discord, your game, or any other application.
After confirmation, you will proceed to the next step.

Step 4. Set VoicePad as the Input Device

Now you need to assign the Voicemeeter virtual output as your primary Windows microphone.

What you need to do:

• Open: Windows Settings → System → Sound
• Under “Input”, select the device: Voicemeeter Out B1 (VB-Audio Voicemeeter VAIO)
• Return to VoicePad
• Click "Confirm"

After that, the system will use VoicePad as your microphone.

Step 5. Final Check

Final step — let’s make sure everything is configured correctly.
What you need to do:

• Click the "Test" button
• Say something into your microphone
• Stop the recording
• Listen to the result

If:

• you can hear your voice
• the sound quality is normal
• there is no heavy distortion

💡 If Something Isn’t Working

• Make sure Voicemeeter Banana is running
• Check that the correct microphone is selected
• Make sure Windows input device is set to Voicemeeter Out B1
